Swept Away
About the Show
The chimney sweeps love nothing more than working away while admiring the London skyline. But when Mary Poppins goes missing, they must venture into an unfamiliar world and band together with some new friends to rescue their beloved leader. Galatians 5:13: “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.”

The Baylor Lariat Review
Kappa Chi Alpha was a confusing mess of costumes, backdrops and overall theme. Both the audience and the women onstage were confused, especially the penguins hobbling around the performers. There were strong vocalists among the ensemble, but they should have reached into the back of Mary Poppins’ brain for a hint of cohesive creativity. A spoonful of sugar would not have helped the act.
