Virtual Sing

The Virtual Sing Experience allows friends, family, and alumni to login from anywhere in the world and enjoy All-University Sing at Baylor. Many of our own Baylor staff actually prefer the Virtual Sing Experience due to the length of the show and greater flexibility of watching at home. 

To make this experience even more meaningful, we recommend you consider putting together Sing parties. Similar to Academy Award Celebrations, you can invite all of your closest alumni and theater-loving friends, provide food and drink (which isn't allowed in Waco Hall), and judge each act on your own scorecards that we will provide here for printing a week before showtime. 

Streaming Virtual Sing To Your Television

After you secure your Virtual Sing ticket, we encourage you to research how to get the feed onto your television. If you would prefer to watch it on your computer, that's easy. 

If you want to watch it on your television, you WILL need to access the feed on a computer first though and then stream it to your television from your computer. Many patrons do this by simply connecting an HDMI cable from a laptop into their television. Other systems (for instance if you have an AppleTV box) allow you to stream over the air (Apple calls it "Airplay") to your television. Some other systems have different terminology, but allow the same functionality. You may need to research a bit on your combination of tech at your house in advance of the show. 

One helpful hint though, your login code for Virtual Sing will not likely work more than once. So do not log into the Sing server until it's time for the show. Test your equipment using YouTube or some other video on your computer.
